The availability of rainfall and piezometry long time series datasets (1986-2009) made available by the Hydrographic Service of Abruzzo Region and belonging to different alluvial coastal aquifers, has given the chance to describe their course and evaluate the piezo-pluviometric correlations. Statistical univariate and bivariate analysis such as autocorrelation, cross correlation and spectral analysis have been applied to deepen the piezo-pluviometric relationships, such as the response of piezometric level in function of the hydrogeological contest. Moreover rainfall and piezometry irregular component analysis investigated the extreme events distribution and their correlation.

Abstract
The availability of rainfall and piezometry long time series datasets (1986-2009) made available by the Hydrographic Service of Abruzzo Region and belonging to different alluvial coastal aquifers, has given the chance to describe their course and evaluate the piezo-pluviometric correlations. Statistical univariate and bivariate analysis such as autocorrelation, cross correlation and spectral analysis have been applied to deepen the piezo-pluviometric relationships, such as the response of piezometric level in function of the hydrogeological contest. Moreover rainfall and piezometry irregular component analysis investigated the extreme events distribution and their correlation.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
