Abstract
The high oxidizing power of excited states allows the preparation of radical cations in solution under mild conditions. These species often fragment competitively with back electron transfer and yield a radical and a cation. The selectivity of the process and the novel chemical reactions obtained is this ways are discussed through examples mainly using aryl nitriles as acceptors and benzyl derivatives as donors. © 1993.File in questo prodotto:
