This study attempts to explore the relationship between family firm traditions and innovation approach. There is a gap in the literature about family firm’s innovation issue. The results are inconsistent. We use a case study to investigate which variables affect innovation approach and how the new generation manage the interaction among family firm traditions and innovation process. The fourth generation is leading the business. They are oriented to the innovation and to maintain the made in Italy production.
