In developed countries, it significantly affects public health in terms of costs and morbidity. Despites the availability of an effective vaccine, the coverage remains low in Italy. This study aimed to evaluate the epidemiological impact of rotavirus hospitalizations in Abruzzo, an Italian region, from 2008 to 2018.
