Abstract
• The research aims to highlight the usefulness of the new digital survey and representation tools to provide unprecedented keys to reading in relation to the tangible and intangible connotations of those historical buildings that have preserved over time, absorbing them into stratifications, characteristics typical of architectural evolution of more complex urban systems. The case study introduces the survey of the Basilica of Santo Stefano Rotondo al Celio, dating from the fifth century. A.D., one of the best preserved historical structures of Rome and at the same time less well-suited to the image based survey due to the circular plant morphology and the particular internal lighting of the environments.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
